Main characteristics & features of the Fiber Optic Sensor line:

Transmit sensor data via IO-Link.

– IO-Link technology enables continuous data collection and processing and sensor control.

– Panasonic has developed a self-diagnosis function for each type of sensor. This function sends sensor data via IO-Link to a higher-level fieldbus, which then reports directly on the sensor’s status.

– The sensing range of the thin optical fiber is about 1.6 times longer than that of conventional products. The sensing range of the standard reflective fiber type is about 1.4 times longer. This adds flexibility to sensor placement.

– Special mode to minimize the influence of ambient light.

– Simplified operation for standard applications.

– Save space and wires.
